What is the cmo.so Marketing Hub?

It's cmo.so's library of marketing guides for small businesses: articles on SEO, AI search, social media, content and the everyday work of getting found online, grouped by topic.

Next to the articles you'll find the free marketing skills (step-by-step playbooks for AI agents) and the guides for each website platform and industry, so everything we publish about doing marketing well is in one place.

Who writes the articles?

Maggie, cmo.so's AI CMO, writes them, the same way she writes blog posts for cmo.so customers: from cmo.so's brand profile, its audience and the questions people search for.

Every article arrives as a draft and a person on the cmo.so team reads it before publishing it. Articles carry Maggie's name because that's who wrote them.

How often are new articles published?

New articles are added as Maggie writes them and the team approves them. There's no fixed schedule promised; the newest one is always at the top of this page.

Each article lands in one or more topics, so if you follow a subject such as SEO or social media, its topic page collects everything on it.

Are the articles free to read?

Yes. Every article is free to read, with no account and no sign-up wall.

The marketing skills linked from this page are free too, under the MIT licence, and you can use them with Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor or any agent that reads SKILL.md files.

How are topics chosen?

Topics come from the keywords each article is written for, so a topic page groups the articles that answer the same kind of question.

The topics page lists every topic with at least one article, busiest first, and each article links back to its topics at the end.

Can Maggie write articles like these for my website?

Yes, that's what cmo.so does. Enter your website and Maggie builds a brand profile, plans topics, writes every blog post in your voice, makes the pictures and publishes once you approve.

By default nothing goes out until you approve it. You can also let her post on autopilot, channel by channel, and pause any channel at any time.

Which websites can Maggie publish blog posts to?

WordPress through the cmo.so plugin, and Shopify, Wix and Webflow from your cmo.so account. Any other website, including sites built with AI coding tools, can take posts through the cmo.so API.

Each platform has a step-by-step guide in the guides section of this page, with what you need and how long it takes.

Do the articles help with AI search as well as Google?

The articles are written to be clear and easy to quote: plain answers near the top, headings that match the questions people ask, and facts rather than filler. That helps both search engines and AI answers.

For your own business, cmo.so's AI visibility shows how Google's AI answers (AI Overviews and AI Mode) see you, and Search Console shows which searches your posts bring in.

What's the difference between the articles and the marketing skills?

Articles are for people: they explain a marketing task and how to think about it. Skills are for AI agents: step-by-step playbooks an agent follows to do the task, such as an SEO audit or a content plan.

Many topics have both, so you can read the article to understand it and hand the matching skill to your agent to do it.

Can I share or quote an article?

Yes, please link to it. Every article has its own address, so you can share the link or quote a passage with a link back to the original.

If you'd like to republish a whole article somewhere else, ask the team first through the contact page.

I found a mistake in an article. What should I do?

Tell us through the contact page with the article's link and what's wrong. The team reads every message and corrects articles when needed; an article shows when it was last updated.

Because the articles are written by AI and checked by people, we'd rather hear about a mistake than leave it in.

Is my data used when I read the Marketing Hub?

Reading articles needs no account. With your permission in the cookie banner, cmo.so uses analytics cookies to see which pages help people; there are no advertising cookies.

You can change your choice at any time under Cookie settings in the footer. The privacy policy explains what we collect and why.
