Marketing for small businesses, done by an AI CMO
Small businesses rarely have the time or budget for a marketing team. cmo.so gives them Maggie instead: she does the work, and you stay in charge of what goes out.
AI Marketing OS Ltd · Made in the UK · Since 2025
The marketing team small businesses never had
Most small businesses know they should publish every week: blog posts that bring in search traffic, social posts that keep them in front of customers, a Google Business Profile that stays fresh. Few have the hours or the budget to do it, and agencies are out of reach for many.
So we built Maggie, an AI CMO that learns your business from your website and does that work every day, in your voice, on every channel you connect, while you keep the final say.
cmo.so is made by AI Marketing OS Ltd, a company in the United Kingdom.
How Maggie does your marketing
- 01Your brand
Enter your website and Maggie builds a brand profile: products, audience, competitors, voice and calls to action. Every post starts from it.
- 02Write
For each channel she picks a template, voice, look and image style, so one idea becomes a post that fits every channel.
- 03Check
Optional Content Policy Guard checks posts against your industry's rules or your own, and holds anything doubtful as a draft.
- 04Autopilot
Pick the days, times and posts a day per channel. Approve every post yourself, or let Maggie post on autopilot.
- 05Publish
On schedule she publishes to your website and channels, reports each post with its link, and Search Console shows what it brought in.
One account, wherever you work
The same Maggie, memory and approvals in every place.
Four promises we build around
By default nothing is published until you say yes. Autopilot is a choice you make per channel, and any channel can be paused.
We never sell your data, channels connect through each platform's own sign-in, and Search Console data is never used to train AI.
Our marketing skills are free and open under the MIT licence, for anyone building their own agent.
Everything Maggie publishes lives on your own website and accounts, and stays there if you leave.

Questions about cmo.so
Who we are, what we do and how we work.
Who makes cmo.so?
cmo.so is made by AI Marketing OS Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16687354), trading as CMO.so. It was incorporated on 1 September 2025 and is based in Tonbridge, Kent.
The same company runs the cmo.so app, Maggie, the MCP server and CLI, and the free marketing skills library.
What is cmo.so?
cmo.so is the AI Marketing OS for small businesses. Its AI CMO, Maggie, researches your business, plans your marketing, writes every blog and social post, makes the pictures and publishes them once you approve.
It brings your website, your social channels and your results together in one place, so the marketing gets done every week without a team or an agency.
Who is Maggie?
Maggie is cmo.so's AI marketing assistant, our AI CMO. She builds a brand profile from your website, picks the right post template, voice and look for each channel, and writes in your style.
She isn't a person. When you'd rather talk to one, the cmo.so team is a message away from the contact page.
Who is cmo.so for?
Small businesses that need steady marketing but don't have the time or budget for a marketing team: local services, online shops, clinics and spas, professional firms, startups and founders.
Agencies use it too, running many client websites from one account, each with its own brand profile, approvals and plan.
Do I stay in control of what's published?
Yes. By default nothing goes out until you approve it. For each channel you choose whether to approve every post yourself or let Maggie post on autopilot, and any channel can be paused at any time.
Optional Content Policy Guard checks posts against your industry's rules or your own and holds anything doubtful as a draft with a suggested rewrite.
What happens to my content if I leave?
Everything already published stays on your own website and social accounts. Leaving cmo.so doesn't take any of it down.
If you delete your account, your sign-in, connections, drafts and Maggie's memory are removed, and paid plans stop renewing at the end of the period you've paid for.
How does cmo.so handle my data?
We never sell or rent your data. Social channels connect through each platform's official sign-in, so cmo.so never sees your passwords, and you can disconnect at any time.
Search Console data is used only to show your own results and plan your content, never for advertising or to train AI models, and videos you post are deleted within 7 days. The privacy policy has the details.
Where can I use cmo.so?
In the cmo.so app on iPhone (beta) and on the web at app.cmo.so, inside ChatGPT and Claude, and in Cursor, VS Code or the terminal through the cmo.so MCP server and CLI.
The same Maggie, memory and approvals apply everywhere, so you can start something in one place and finish it in another.
Why are the marketing skills free?
We believe good marketing methods should be open. The skills library is over 130 step-by-step playbooks under the MIT licence, for SEO, AI search, content, social, email, ads and more.
Anyone can use them with Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor or any agent that reads SKILL.md, whether or not they use cmo.so.
What's the difference between cmo.so, app.cmo.so and ai.cmo.so?
cmo.so is this website: what cmo.so does, pricing, guides, the skills library and your plans and billing. app.cmo.so is the web version of the cmo.so app, where you and Maggie run your marketing day to day.
ai.cmo.so is the dashboard, still used for a few settings such as Google Ads and agency options. One cmo.so account signs you in to all of them.
How much does cmo.so cost?
You can start free, with no card needed. Paid plans are per website and billed monthly; the pricing page lists each plan with its posts a day and Maggie messages.
If you cancel a paid plan, it carries on until the end of the month you've paid for.
How do I get in touch?
The contact page has Ask Maggie for quick answers and a form that sends your question to the team, who reply by email. You can also email maggie@cmo.so.
