What connecting gives you

One Maggie, every place your customers look

The writing, pictures and timing change for each platform. The way you work with Maggie doesn't.

Articles on your own website

WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Webflow or any site by API: articles written for real searches go out at your posting times.

Blog

Posts in each channel's style

LinkedIn, Google Business, Facebook and Instagram each get posts written for them, with pictures in your look.

Social channels

Short videos, with the words written

Add a 5 to 30 second video and Maggie writes the YouTube title or the TikTok caption, with your settings.

Video

Numbers you can act on

Search Console shows the clicks and search terms behind each article, and steers which ones Maggie rewrites.

Data

Approve from anywhere

Every post waits for your OK in the app on iPhone, on the web or in ChatGPT and Claude, unless you let it run.

Approval

Nothing goes out twice

Each website has one publishing connection, and each channel its own queue: one post per posting time.

How it works

Every integration starts the same way

  1. Enter your website

Maggie reads it and builds your brand profile in minutes.

  2. Connect a platform

Pick it in the app and follow its guide: a plugin, a key or a sign-in.

  3. Approve your first posts

They wait in Ready or Review until you say yes.

  4. Let it run

Posts go out at your posting times; you check in when you like.

Questions

Integrations, answered

Still unsure?

Which platforms does cmo.so work with?

Websites on WordPress, Shopify, Wix and Webflow, or any website that can call one API; LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, Facebook Pages and Instagram; YouTube and TikTok for short videos; and Google Search Console for the numbers.

Each guide on this page shows how that platform connects and what Maggie does once it's in place. In the cmo.so app, websites connect under Posts, social channels under Social and Search Console under Reports. Facebook Pages, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok are in beta for now, so you ask to join before connecting them, and Webflow is set up with our team rather than from the app.

If your website runs on something else, such as Next.js, Astro or a headless CMS, it can still take articles through the cmo.so API. Or an AI coding tool can build the blog pages and connect them for you with Vibe Coding.

Do I need to be technical to connect?

No. Most connections are a sign-in or one key pasted into a form, and each guide shows every screen. The API route is the one that needs a developer, or an AI coding tool such as Claude Code or Codex.

For WordPress, Shopify and Wix you copy a key or password from your platform's settings and paste it into the cmo.so app. The app checks it with the platform before saving and tells you what to fix if something is missing. Social channels and Search Console are a sign-in with the platform and a tap to allow access.

If your site is custom code, Vibe Coding gives you one prompt to paste into your coding tool. It installs cmo.so, builds the blog pages and connects them, and asks you before any step that needs you. Webflow asks little of you: a token and one step in the Designer, and our team does the rest.

Can I connect more than one channel?

Yes. The free plan and verified websites without a plan can use two social channels; paid plans more. Each channel has its own posting times and queue.

One idea can become a post for every channel you pick, each written in that channel's style. A new offer, for example, could go to Google Business Profile as an Offer post, to LinkedIn as a longer post in your voice and to Instagram with a picture in your look. You approve them together under Social → Review.

Because each channel keeps its own queue, a busy week on one doesn't hold up the others, and you can pause one channel without stopping the rest. Want to try it first? Each account gets five free social posts before the website is verified.

Is my password safe?

Keys and passwords go only into the connect form, straight to cmo.so over HTTPS, and are checked with the platform before anything is saved. Maggie never sees them in the chat. Social channels connect by signing in with the platform itself.

Website connections use a key made for cmo.so rather than your login: a website key for the WordPress plugin, a WordPress application password, a Shopify Dev Dashboard app or a Wix API key. You stay in control of them. Deleting the application password in your WordPress profile, or deactivating the plugin, stops publishing at once.

Never paste a key or password into a chat, with Maggie or with us. If a platform needs one sent to our team, as Webflow's token does, contact us and we'll arrange a secure way to receive it. You can disconnect any channel from cmo.so or from the platform itself whenever you like.

What if my platform isn't listed?

Use Any website: your site pulls each post with one API key. Or ask us for the platform you need; Maggie can also help in the chat.

Any website suits sites built on Next.js, Astro, Nuxt, SvelteKit, Laravel, Rails, Django, a headless CMS or a static site with a build step. Your server calls GET https://api.cmo.so/posts on a schedule and saves each article it gets. No developer? Vibe Coding gives your AI coding tool one prompt that builds the blog pages and connects them. Both routes need a verified website.

How much does it cost?

Connecting is free. Once your website is verified you get 30 free posts, then plans start at £15 a month for 2 posts a day (Air), up to Elite at 96 a day. Prices are per website and you can cancel any time.

The free plan needs no card. Each account also gets five free social posts before the website is verified, so you can try a channel such as LinkedIn first. Between Air and Elite there are Pro at £45 a month for 12 posts a day, Max at £75 for 24 and Ultra at £115 for 48; Elite is £195.

Plans are billed monthly for each website, so an agency running several brands pays per client site. If you cancel, the plan carries on until the end of the month you've paid for, and everything already published stays on your website and social accounts.

How do I connect my website?

In the cmo.so app, go to Posts → Show me how and pick your platform: WordPress (plugin or application password), Shopify (a Dev Dashboard app), Wix (an API key), Any site (one API key) or Vibe Coding. Each integration page here shows every step with screens.

Pick the route that fits your site. The WordPress plugin is recommended if you can install plugins, and an application password works before your website is verified. Shopify takes about 10 minutes, mostly creating the app in Shopify, and Wix about 5. Webflow isn't in the connect screen yet; our team sets it up with you.

Once the details check out, new articles wait in Posts → Ready for your OK. Each website has one publishing connection, so connecting a new platform turns off the old one and no article goes out twice. Articles already published stay where they are.

How do I connect social channels?

Go to the Social tab and tap the channel. You sign in on the platform itself, so cmo.so never sees your password; beta channels (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok) need a quick request to join first.

With nothing connected yet, the Social tab shows a Connect your social accounts card with a button for each channel. Once one is connected, tap the header to open Channels and add the next. Instagram connects through the Facebook Page it's linked to, so switch it to a Business or Creator account first.

After you connect LinkedIn, Maggie shows the plan she prepared: your picture look, voice and how often to post, which you can check before you start. New posts then wait under Social → Review, where you approve them one by one or with Approve all.

Can I use one channel without a website platform?

Yes. Social channels work on their own: Maggie writes from your website's brand profile even if your website isn't connected for publishing.

For example, you could connect LinkedIn and Google Business Profile and let Maggie post there while your blog stays as it is. Your brand profile covers your products, audience, voice and calls to action, so the posts still sound like your business. You can connect a website platform later if you want articles too.

LinkedIn doesn't even need a verified website to start, and each account gets five free social posts. When you're ready, verifying the website unlocks 30 free blog posts: use a work email at your domain, a DNS record, the WordPress plugin or ask us to check by hand.

Do I have to approve every post?

Only if you want to. Each channel can wait for your OK or post on its own, and the content guard checks each post either way.

New channels start with review on. Articles wait in Posts → Ready and social posts in Social → Review, where you can edit a post, ask Maggie to change it in your own words, or approve a batch at once. You can approve from the iPhone app, the web app at app.cmo.so, or ChatGPT and Claude.

Some posts always wait for you. YouTube and TikTok videos are approved one by one, and a picture that might show something invented is held for your OK even on autopilot. In a regulated industry we recommend keeping review on, so a person signs off every post.

Can I add a platform that isn't listed?

Use Any website to publish to any site that can call one API, ask Maggie to help in the chat, or tell us which platform you need; new integrations appear here as soon as they're ready.

When you ask, say which platform it is and whether it's for your website or a social channel. In the chat, Talk to a person lets you leave your email and question, and the team replies by email. For social channels, the website also has a Don't see your channel? Request it link. In the meantime, social channels work without a website connection, so you can start with the ones already listed.

Is there a limit on connections?

Each website has one publishing connection for its blog. The free plan and verified websites without a plan can use two social channels; paid plans more.

That single publishing connection is deliberate: it means an article never goes out twice. If you move from one platform to another, say from WordPress to an API pull, the new connection turns off the old one, and articles already published stay where they are.

Social channels connect one account each per website, such as one Facebook Page or one Google Business Profile. If you run several brands, add each website separately. Plans are per website, so each gets its own brand profile, channels and allowance.
