TikTok is CMO.so's second video channel, in beta. The user gives Maggie a short video (5-30 seconds), Maggie writes the caption, and the user chooses the settings TikTok asks for on every post; they approve it and, at the next TikTok slot, CMO.so posts it to their account (TikTok's Direct Post). TikTok's Content Sharing Guidelines decide how this works: nothing is preset for the user, every post is approved by them, and nothing is sent to TikTok before that. This skill connects the account and runs its queue.

When to use

  • Anything about TikTok with CMO.so: connecting, adding a video, its settings, approving, "is it live", why a post failed, pausing.
  • "Post this clip on TikTok", "put it on TikTok and YouTube".
  • Not for: writing one video's caption and hashtags, or checking the video itself (cmo-tiktok-posts); ideas, hooks and scripts (cmo-short-form-video); filming and editing (cmo-video-production); TikTok ads (not in CMO.so).

How it works

From input to output

  1. 1You give it
    • The website (`workspace`) the TikTok account belongs to
    • The video: uploaded in the CMO.so app, or a direct link to a video file (MP4 or MOV), 5-30 seconds
    • The user's own choices for TikTok's settings: who can view it, comments / Duet / Stitch, whether it promotes their brand or a third party, whether it's AI-generated
    • Which drafts to approve, edit or skip
  2. 2It works through the method
    • Asks what's missing, one question at a time
    • Follows the workflow step by step
    • Checks the result against its quality bar and guardrails
  3. 3You get

What is the TikTok queue skill?

Run the TikTok queue in CMO.so (beta): connect the account, add a short video (5-30 seconds) from the app or a file link, let the user choose TikTok's settings for it (who can view it, comments, Duet, Stitch, content disclosure, AI label) exactly as TikTok's rules ask, get their approval, and follow it through TikTok's processing.

It's one of cmo.so's open CMO.so core skills: a SKILL.md file that tells an AI agent when to use it, what to ask you first, the steps to follow, the checks to pass and what to hand back, so the job is done the same careful way every time.

When should I use it?

Reach for it when you'd otherwise say something like “Connect my TikTok”, “Post this video on TikTok”, “Put this clip on our TikTok too”. Your agent reads the skill's description and picks it for requests like these, so you don't need to name it.

If a request is close but not quite right, the skill says so and points to the related skill that fits better, instead of forcing a poor answer.

What do I need to give it?

It works best with the website (`workspace`) the TikTok account belongs to; the video: uploaded in the CMO.so app, or a direct link to a video file (MP4 or MOV), 5-30 seconds; the user's own choices for TikTok's settings: who can view it, comments / Duet / Stitch, whether it promotes their brand or a third party, whether it's AI-generated; and which drafts to approve, edit or skip.

You don't have to prepare everything up front. The skill asks for missing pieces one at a time and says plainly when it's working from an assumption instead of your data.

What do I get back?

You get a connected TikTok account (beta testers only for now); a TikTok draft in Review with Maggie's caption and the settings the user chose, ready for their approval; and the video posted at its slot and followed through TikTok's processing: posted (with its link once public, else the profile) or failed with the reason in plain words.

Every result comes from a written method with a quality bar, so numbers name their source, claims are checked and the output is ready to use or share rather than a rough draft.

Is it free?

Yes. The skill is open source under the MIT licence, so you can use it, change it and share it, including for client work.

Seeing, copying and downloading the whole file on cmo.so needs a free sign-in. Copying also upvotes and saves it, so you can find it again under Saved on the skills page.

Which AI agents can use it?

Claude Code installs it from the cmo.so marketplace. Any agent that reads SKILL.md folders, such as Codex or Cursor, can use it once the folder is in its skills directory.

As a core skill it also works in Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP clients through the cmo.so MCP server, so you can use whichever assistant you already have.

How do I install it?

In Claude Code, run /plugin marketplace add AI-Marketing-OS-LTD/cmo-so-skills, then /plugin install cmo-so@cmo-so. That installs this skill together with the rest of the CMO.so core group.

For other agents, sign in, press Copy or Download above and put the file in your agent's skills folder as SKILL.md inside a folder named after the skill.

Do I need a cmo.so account to use it?

Yes. TikTok queue is a core skill: it works through the cmo.so MCP server with tools such as tiktok_connect_link, tiktok_creator, social_list, social_video_add, so it acts on your own website, drafts and channels.

The free plan is enough to start, and every change it makes is shown to you as a preview first and only goes ahead after you say yes.

Which skills work well with it?

It pairs well with TikTok caption writing; YouTube queue; Short-form video; and Video production. The agent can hand over from one to the next in the same conversation, for example research first, then the plan, then the writing.

Each of them has its own page with what it needs and what it returns, linked below.

Can I change it to fit my business?

Yes. It's a plain Markdown file, so you can edit the steps, add your own checks and examples, and keep your version in your own repo. The MIT licence allows it.

If your change would help others too, suggest it on the skills page or open a pull request on GitHub, and it may be folded into the library for everyone.

Where does the method come from?

It's written and maintained by cmo.so in the public cmo-so-skills repo, alongside the rest of the library.

Improvements ship to the repo and appear here as soon as they're synced, with the version shown at the top of the page.

Is my data sent to cmo.so when the agent uses it?

No. The skill only guides your own agent; your files, documents and data stay wherever your agent and its tools keep them.

As a core skill it reads and changes your cmo.so data through the MCP server, with your sign-in, and only after you confirm each change.
