Checks the page that paid or email traffic lands on, judged against what each ad or email promised. Most post-click losses come from a broken promise (the ad says one thing, the page another), a slow or cramped mobile page, or a form that asks too much too early. The result is a per-source message-match score, a scorecard of the post-click experience, and fixes ranked by impact.
When to use
- Ads have a healthy click-through rate but conversions are weak or falling: the problem is usually on the page.
- Before a new campaign goes live, so budget is not spent on a leaking page.
- Several ads or audiences point at one page and you suspect it fits none of them well.
- Regular review of every page that receives paid traffic.
- Not for: general page CRO without a specific traffic source (
cmo-page-cro), writing new ad variations (cmo-ad-creative), or the signup steps after the page (cmo-signup-flow).
